Desmond, a disgraced Wall Street banker, has come to the East River walk to kill himself rather than turn himself in to the police station the following morning. But when Desmond strikes up a conversation with Henry, a homeless man, the two spend the night reflecting upon their lives and how they ended up in the same place.
